Going to work everyday... Do you use your car or you go walking? - Contrast/Comparative paragraph

Everyday we have to go to many places and we should think about the time we spend on it, the effort and the consequences it has on the enviroment. Going by car is more expensive because you have to pay the gas and mantain the car. Also the car create many pollution and contaminate our air. However it is faster and comfortable but only if you have to go out from the city. On the other hand walking is free and we can safe some money because we don't need the gym anymore. Surely, it's better for our health and furthermore it's good for our mind because we can take a moment to think about us and not about anyother people. In addition, it's proved that walking to our job make us being more productive, relaxed and happy. To summarize, if you have the chance try to walk everyday and you will be happier.

Defenceless animals - Opinion paragraph

Every child in the world want to have a pet and there is many shops which sells dogs, cats, exotic pets, birds, etc. Shops where we can see happy and healthy puppies. Recently, I read on internet how many dogs are abused in a puppy mill. They were in terrible conditions, stacked in a small building, pissing and shitting where they sleep. Then those dogs are carry to a pet shop where they wash them and sell them for a good price. I think people should know where they pets come from, how they came to this world and how they were raised until you bought or adopted them. Since I noticed this everytime I see a pet shop I always think about it. Maybe we are the only one to blame because we only see what we want, those little puppies jumping in front of you, looking for some love. However, you don't know how has been his life.

A place to get lost - Description paragraph

I went to Lyon in a school trip in 2008 and it is a wonderful and romantic city. I can't compare it with Paris because I haven't been there but to me Lyon is a magical city. We visited some touristic places but the most beautiful place in the city is the church named Basilique de Fourvière. I'm not a religious person but I love the architecture of Romanesque and gothic buildings. The church we visited was on a hill, some nuns told us that the hill is called "the hill which pray" because there is a church and a monastery. Furthermore, I tasted for the very fist time macarons which are some delicious sweets made of almond powder and there is many flavours and colours, they taste like heaven. When I was walking through the city I wished I had someone to walk with me but I wasn't sad at all, I know I'll go again with that special person and it will be very romantic.

Someone who inspires me - Description paragraph

I had some difficulties in my life that really made me feel sad or unfortunate but one day I found someone who inspires me. He makes me feel like nobody does, when I am with him I want to become a better person because he is such a good guy. Maybe his eyes are not so noticeable as blue or grey eyes but when you look at him you can get lose in the deep of his sight. I am happy to say that I found a boyfriend who is also my partner and I can talk to him with the same security and naturally as a friend. He knows everything about me the bad things and good ones, he keeps my secrets and understand me. I proudly say that I have someone who gives me love, laughs and keeps safe my heart.

New trip

We have already finished a stressful, beautiful and frustrating term of our life called Bachillerato. We learned to face up to our fears: fear of not being good enough, fear of not being popular, fear of being alone, fear of not passing our exams, fear of failing someone... However we did it, and we started just two weeks ago our University term.

First day, nobody knows anyone but you can go and talk to someone or maybe they talk to you, we feel fear of not having friends but don't be scared you will do some new friends. I am very shy but I have met some people these weeks that I really like and they have the same dreams and fears as me, which is amazing. Everyone has their own story about how they begun studying English Philology but everybody is taking the same way to reach their dreams and we can share this experience.

After a couple weeks this starts getting serious and you will realize that you are here to study what you want and there is no excuse. So you have to get motivated and enjoy everything you do because this degree is four years long and there is no time to give up.
